Made to Play Podcast # 2: jamie anderson aka idiotproof

Recognized as a pioneer of the Tech-House sound, Jamie Anderson is one of the UK's most prolific house music producers and has been on the international DJ circuit for well over 10 years. Currently enjoying the success of his collaborations with Jesse Rose for DJ Hell’s International Deejay Gigolos, Deepgroove for Klang Elektronik and his own releases on NRK and the San Francisco based Om record label.

His recent productions have included remixes of Francois Dubois 'I Try' for Urbantorque, Armand Van Helden ‘Track Called Jack’ for Southern Fried and alongside Deepgroove he has just finished producing an album for Klang Elektronik. 2008 continues to be a very busy year for Jamie with many gigs worldwide and a string of high profile releases and remixes.

Made to Play Podcast # 1: Oliver $

Oliver $ continues working closely with Jesse Rose and producing records and remixes that are being played by the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Derrick Carter and Switch. 2008 started with a bang for oliver as “hotflash” was released on made to play in january and has been a massive hit. His remixes for Swag, Idiotproof (aka Jamie Anderson and Deepgroove) and Jacob London have caused devastation all over and his remix of Grovesnor’s “Drive Your Car”, forthcoming on Grecoroman, got the biggest reaction in Jesse Rose’s set to 20,000 people on new years day 2008 in Sydney, Australia.

As well as having a busy studio schedule Oliver $ is also playing both live and DJs sets at some of the best clubs the world over. Over the next few months he will be playing at The Egg in London, Vega in Copenhagen, Rumble in Sweden, Club Stalker in Holland and Panoramabar in Berlin where he holds his residency at the monthly Made to Play night.

oliver $ has also mixed the forthcoming made to play compilation "playing around" that will be released on 28th april. The double CD includes tracks and remixes by Jesse Rose, Claude VonStroke, Trevor Loveys, Sinden, Chris Duckenfield, Oliver $, Deadset, Magik Johnson and a bonus mix cd mixed by oliver $.
